Where the fish stands, there'll be snapshots.

May the tenth be with you. (I don’t know how to start this post, haha). So, this morning, (which has been intro’d by some mobile uploads), I was able to go out and shoot by the gulf.

While waiting for my companion, I took some photos of cats. They weren’t so aware that I was already taking pictures of them (through some ‘techniques’), ‘cause cats here rarely go near any human.

Anyway. We were greeted at the Corniche with a crowd which was frenzied by two kabayan (compatriots) who caught two large humongous fish! I overheard some people chatting that it takes tremendous skills to catch such fish. That kind of fish accordingly (well, kind of obvious) could break rods.

I then went ahead to the nearest cluster of flowers and did my thing.

As the camera’s battery was dying and used up 8GB space, I decided to cool down a bit  —walked by the shore and watch some fishing folks, some schools of tiny fish, and saw a murdered fellow. :(

Maybe it’s the lack of people in their swimming attire that makes this place dull. (Swimming here is actually prohibited). I mean, it could pass as a resort place. But never mind.

So, heads up. This will be yet another series of flora and fauna (although there would be less species of flowers this time, and just one for fauna, excluding the cat and the fish above). All two hours worth of bending and crouching, as I am trying to improve (I hope) my flower photog ‘cause this is what’s available right now, and I can only do this once a week. And in a few more weeks, these flowers won’t survive the heat of Saudi Arabia.

I realized I have not posted any food photos for a while, especially from the vacation (January-February). Here are some samosas from mid-January.
